PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reasily reduce the leakage of a compression medium by forming a helical coil used in a helical blade compressor by repeatedly overlapping the helical coils by bonding one end of annulus ring or circular arc having a cut to one end of another annulus ring or circular arc. SOLUTION: A plurality of annulus rings respectively having a cut on a part of a stainless steel sheet are prepared, five sheets are superposed on one another, one end of a first sheet and one end of a next sheet are joined, this joining work is repeatedly executed, and further the joints are bonded by brazing to form a helical coil of five turns. On this occasion, to improve the structural strength of the helical coil, the helical coils are superposed and joined while shifting the joint parts from one another. The grooves are formed on the predetermined positions of an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder, and the helical coils are inserted to the same to form a helical compressor to apply the helical coil as a helical blade of the helical blade compressor.
