PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a porous ceramic material capable of becoming an excellent aggregate by which the porous ceramic material comprising different crystal phases can be provided, and the ratio of the crystal phase compositions of the obtained porous ceramic material can be controlled. SOLUTION: This production method of a porous ceramic material chiefly comprises the following steps: (a) a step of preparing animal's sponge bone, (b) a step of heat-treating the sponge bone, and removing the organic constituent therefrom, (c) a step of soaking the sponge bone from which the organic constituent is removed, in a phosphoric acid salt solution, and (d) a step of drying the soaked sponge bone, sintering the dried sponge bone at >=900 deg.C to provide the objective porous ceramic material comprising the different crystal phases. The kind and the composition ratio of the crystal phases of the porous ceramic material can be controlled only by adjusting the kind and the concentration of the phosphoric acid salt for the soaking. |
