PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the sticking of scale, slime, urinary calculus and the like to a flush toilet stool and to prevent the occurrence of an odor by detecting the presence or absence of cleaning water in a low tank with an electrode, and applying a voltage to elute bactericidal metal ions. SOLUTION: A fixed quantity of cleaning water is stored in a low tank 7 via a feed water pipe 6 and a ball tap 2. When a cleaning cock 8 is rotated, a switch valve 10 is opened to feed the cleaning water to a flush toilet stool 11. A bactericidal metal ion feeding means 4 constituted of a control means 1, a connecting cable 3 and an electrode 5 is fitted to the low tank 7, and the presence or absence of the cleaning water in the low tank 7 is detected by the electrode 5. When the cleaning water is newly fed into the low tank 7, a voltage is applied to the electrode for a prescribed time to elute bactericidal metal ions from an anode. Polarities are periodically inverted to uniformly consume the electrode 5. The electrode 5 is used for both water detection and ion generation, and the sticking of scale, slime and urinary calculus to the toilet stool 11 and the occurrence of an odor can be prevented. |
