PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sufficient creep resistance without lowering torque capacity by forming an outer ring by drawing a metal pipe, and forming the height of an axially extended protrusion formed on the outer diameter face of the outer ring, independently of the depth of cam faces in a one-way clutch provided with a detent at the outer diameter face of the outer ring. SOLUTION: An outer ring 1 of a one-way clutch is formed by drawing a steel pipe, but at this time, a plurality of circumferentially inclined cam faces 2 are formed at the inner diameter face of the outer ring 1, while an axially extended detent protrusion 3 is formed at the outer diameter face. The height of the protrusion 3 is formed independently of the depth of the cam faces 2. Rollers 4 are arranged in the opposed positions to the respective cam faces 2 being held by a resin cage 5. Each roller 4 is locked between the outer diameter face of a shaft 7 and the cam face 2 of the outer ring 1 by a spring 6 fitted to the cage 5. A circumferential groove 8 with a depth equal to the deepest part of the cam face 2 is formed on one end side of the inner diameter face of the outer ring 1, and a protrusion 12 at one end of the cage 5 is engaged into the groove 8. |
