PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary washing machine with the brush prevented from rotating when not necessary. SOLUTION: The rotary washing machine is equipped with a grip shaft 10 connected with a shower hose, a washing head connected with the grip shaft 10, and a brush 40 connected with the washing head. The head has a hydraulic wheel chamber 21 which is furnished internally with a nozzle ring 25, a nozzle 24 mounted on the nozzle ring, a hydraulic wheel 30 to rotate in receiving the jet water flow from the nozzle 24, and a speed reducer 31 to decelerate the rotation of the hydraulic wheel 30. A lock device 60 is to lock the hydraulic wheel.
