PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insole for a shoe, etc., giving a soft-touch to the user, having good moisture absorbing performance, and precluding sticky feeling when the user puts it on so that he can feel dryiness significantly. SOLUTION: An insole for shoe, etc., is composed of a pile layer 1, ground layer 2, and cushion layer 3, wherein the pile layer 1 is formed from hydrophilic fibers and hydrophobic fibers. The thickness of the pile layer 1 should be 0.5-5 mm, or the pile should contain the hydrophilic and hydrophobic fibers in a proportion of 50:50 thru 80:20.
