摘要 PURPOSE: A method for controlling an FRU(Frame Unit) in an FLC-C(Fiber Loop Carrier-Curb) system, is provided to efficiently control the FRU mounted on an ONU(Optical Network Unit), to arrange information received from a subscriber appropriately for an E1 frame or to extract signals and information of each subscriber from the E1 frame for delivery to a corresponding subscriber channel unit. CONSTITUTION: An FRU(Frame Unit) ID number and information on each port are collected(S301). An ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) cell processor, an OAM(Operation and Maintenance) cell processor, an ATM cell bus connector and a framer are initialized(S302). The information related to the initialization is reported to a BCMU(Bank Control and Maintenance Unit)(S303). Each device is re-initialized using initialization information re-delivered from the BCMU(S304). If an error is generated, an alarm message is reported to the BCMU(S305). If an error is not generated, interrupt vector and an ISR(Interrupt Service Routine) are registered(S306). A communication queue is generated(S307). Each processing step is generated(S308). And a control processing step(S315) is performed. The control processing step(S315) comprises as follows. A performance monitor item is generated every predetermined period, and reported to the BCMU(S330). Information on PVC(Permanent Virtual Connection) is managed(S340). Error generation of the FRU is reported(S320). Continuity for connection, loop-back and performance monitor are checked/reported(S380). PSTN/ISDN(Public Switched Telephone Network/Integrated Services Digital Network) user port control signals are generated. A message is extracted from an output FIFO(First In First Out) of a signaling channel of the framer every predetermined time. A message is duplicated to a specific FIFO of the framer whenever a message to be transmitted to a signaling channel is generated, and information on the state of subscriber ports and links are collected(S390). The usage of each E1 link signal and CRC(Cyclic Redundancy Check) of an E1 signal is set up in a use mode and a DLC(Digital Loop Carrier) mode, and a signaling channel of an IDLC(Integrated DLC) protocol is set up. And ID of the PSTN/ISDN user ports is assigned(S350). An IPC(Inter Process Communication) message is transceived(S370). The transmission of testing IPC cell, the setup of PVC(Permanent Virtual Connection) and loop-back are performed(S395).
