A completely in-the-canal hearing device includes a distal receiver module (44) having a rigid housing. A conformal tip (12) surrounds the receiver module housing, and includes an elastic membrane (12) defining an internally isolated volume filled with a compliant material (40). The outer circumference of the conformal tip is slightly larger than the inner circumference of the ear canal, so as to provide an acoustic seal to help eliminate the product feedback. |
