PURPOSE: A tread of a 3/6 rib pattern tire is provided to enhance traction ability and set grip ability by placing many lateral sipes on the surface of ribs, to increase draining performance by adopting a main groove and minor grooves, to improve steering stability by engaging blocks to each other and to form regular grounding pressure by making the rib get narrower from a shoulder unit to the center portion. CONSTITUTION: A 3/6 rib pattern tire consists of six lines of ribs(1,2,3) by forming two main grooves(4) on a tread and minor grooves(5,6,) on the center of the ribs. Sipes(7) are placed in an inner rib(2) of a shoulder unit in a Z shape. Due to the sipes, the tire has large grounding area and excellent draining performance and a hydro-planning phenomenon is prevented. The grooves are in almost linear shape to enhance draining performance and a stone rejecter(8) is installed in the bottom of the main grooves. Entirely, the rib is getting narrower from the shoulder unit to the center for regular grounding pressure.
