THE ROUTING METHOD OF PREPAID CALLS IN THE MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS

PURPOSE: A prepaid call routing method in a mobile communication system is provided to distinguish calls from a general call and a prepaid call, and to perform a routing to a prepaid server for the prepaid call, then to perform an on-line charging by the prepaid server. CONSTITUTION: When a prepaid service subscriber(100) dials, HLR/VLR(Hone Location Register/Visit Location Register)(120,140) check whether a transmitting telephone number of a received prepaid call is valid. If so, a system displays the valid transmitting telephone number to a data field of the prepaid subscriber(100), and notifies a mobile telephone exchange(130). The mobile telephone exchange(130) perceives the prepaid subscriber from the data field, and adds a prepaid routing number to the corresponding received number, then transmits the prepaid routing number to a CGS(Cellular Gateway Switch)(150). The CGS(150) confirms the prepaid routing number, and performs a receiving process to a prepaid server(170). The prepaid server(170) checks whether the received prepaid call is valid. If so, the prepaid server(170) performs a receiving process to the corresponding received telephone number.
