PURPOSE: A speaker system is provided to provide a surround effect by realizing an audio signal processing part at the speaker system having an USB port connected to a computer. CONSTITUTION: An USB port(821) is connected to an USB cable and transfers a digital audio signal received/transmitted from/to a computer. An USB interface(822) connects the USB port to an internal speaker system and transfers the digital audio signal. An USB controller(823) has configuration information comprising a connection position from an USB host and a function of an USB device connected through the USB port. An amplifier part(840) amplifies an audio analog signal to transfer the amplified signal to a speaker unit(870). An audio controller key(850) has a plurality of control keys and transfers a signal for controlling a surround effect into the internal speaker system. An input terminal(861) is connected to a microphone device. An audio signal processing part(810) modulates a sound analog signal from the microphone into an audio digital signal and demodulate an audio digital signal from an USB device(820) into an audio analog signal. The audio signal processing part(810) processes the modulated/demodulated signal in response to a control signal from the audio control key(850) and supplies the processed audio analog signal to the amplifier part(840).
