PURPOSE: A digital still camera is provided to simplify the coupling operation of the connection cables coupling a lens body and a camera body so as to increase user convenience. CONSTITUTION: The digital still camera includes the camera body, the lens body(20), the connection cable(30) and a winder. The lens body is dispatchably implemented on the camera body. The connection cable is implemented so as to be ejected from the inner portion to the outer portion of the camera body and connects the lens body and the camera body. The winder winds the connection cable so as to store the connection cable in the camera body. The winder further includes a rotating member, a latch gear, a latch, a fixed axis, a spiral spring and a lever. The rotating member includes the connection cable wound around itself. The latch gear is fixed on the rotating member. The latch operates corresponding to the latch gear. The fixed axis penetrates the rotating member and the latch gear so as to guide the rotation of the rotating member and the latch gear. One end of the spiral spring is fixed on the fixed axis and the other end is fixed on the rotating member and the spiral spring holds elastic force in the direction of winding of the connection cable. The lever is formed as one component with the latch and manipulates the latch.
