摘要 PURPOSE: A traction control system controls the frictional force of a tire and a road surface by controlling an air pressure of a tire, thereby improving the accelerating force and the turning stability of a traveling car. CONSTITUTION: A traction control system comprises a wheel speed sensor(1), a road surface sensor(5), a traction controller(2), an engine controller(3), a braking controller(4) and an air pressure controller(6). The road surface sensor(5) senses the state of a traveling road surface. The traction controller(2) outputs an engine driving force control signal, a braking control signal and an air pressure control signal stored in the memory of the traction controller(2) after receiving a signal from the wheel speed sensor(1) and the road surface sensor(5). The engine controller(3) controls the operating condition of an engine according to the engine driving force control signal. The braking controller(4) controls the operating condition of a brake according to the braking control signal. The air pressure controller(6) senses the condition of the air pressure of a tire and controls the condition of the air pressure of the tire according to an air pressure control signal from the traction controller(2), thereby controlling the frictional force of the tire and a road surface.
