PURPOSE: A switching device for the high-low of a transfer case is provided to switch a high-low mode without shutting off the drive force transmitted to an input shaft. CONSTITUTION: A switching device for the high-low of a transfer case contains an input shaft(1) rotated with power; an output shaft(5) inserted into one side of the input shaft; a sun gear(7) combined with one side of the input shaft with a spline; and a pinion gear(9) rotatively installed in a carrier(11) and engaged with a ring gear. Then, the switching device contains a synchronous device(A) synchronizing a sleeve(19) with the sun gear in a high mode and synchronizing the carrier with the carrier in a low mode to smoothly combine the sleeve with the input shaft and the carrier in the output shaft. The synchronous device consists of a sleeve operating unit transmitting mode selection operating force; a supporting bar installed in the direction of the input shaft in the opposite face of the sun gear and the carrier; and a high-low clutch synchronizing the sleeve with the sun gear and the carrier in one end of the supporting bar and the opposite faces of the sun gear and the carrier.
