摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a pipe joint with dimensional accuracy by placing an outer shell in a second mold cavity having an outer shell placing part being small for a contraction of outer shell synthetic resin and an inner layer forming part to the inside of the outer layer of an outer shell joint main body after the injection molding of the outer shell, and injection-molding elastic resin having a specific rigidity or lower. SOLUTION: Synthetic resin 1A is injection-molded in a first mold cavity so as to integrally mold an outer shell comprising the outer layer 111 of a coupling main body 11 and a socket 12. In the next place, there is used a second mold 4 provided with a cavity having an outer shell placing part being smaller for a contraction of the outer shell synthetic resin 1A than the first mold cavity and an inner layer forming part to the inside of the outer layer 111 of the outer shell joint main body 11. Then, the outer shell is placed on the outer shell placing part within the cavity of the mold, and by injection-molding elastic resin 1B having a rigidity of 80 or lower in the inner layer forming part, an inner layer 112 is formed at the inside of the outer layer 111 of the outer shell joint main body 11. As as result, manufacture can be carried out with excellent dimensional accuracy.</p>
