The hook-and-eye tape is a continuous textile tape which is normally synthetic and incorporates hooks (rings) in at least one longitudinal line, these being fixed in the multi-layer structure of the fabric. The machine has a bench over which advance the various bands or strips 1, 2, 7, 11 which gain access to the stations for mounting of the hooks 6, these being located in an automatic supply loader (magazine) and placed at their point of application individually and in two or more units by means of a pneumatic cylinder. Fastening of the hooks 6 and of the various layers of fabric 1, 2, 3, 7, 11 is achieved by welding, without the supply of thread, using ultrasound heads 21, their jaws of application to the tape having seats and countermoulds adapted to the profile of the hook 6 in order to optimize the welding. It applies to the hook-and-eye industry in general and avoids unnecessary shutdowns which are typical of current machines for fixing by means of sewing with thread. <IMAGE>
