PURPOSE: A complex control unit and method thereof increases efficiency on management of a battery power and a traveling velocity by the complex control of a cruise power and a car velocity. CONSTITUTION: A complex control unit comprises a signal sensor(10), a controller(20), a power generator(30) and an actuator(40). The signal sensor(10) inputs a sensed signal to the controller(20) after sensing a key signal setting up a cruise control, the information of a car velocity and the information of a consuming power. The controller(20) controls the overall action controlling the power consumption of a moving car and the car velocity of a moving car according to several sensed traveling information and a fixed map data. The power generator(30) is the source of an electronic energy. The actuator(40) controls the driving energy treatment of the power generator(30) and the driving operation of a car according to the signal of the controller(20).
