PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the scattering of oil drops from a blade back space to a primary space and discharge the refrigerant gas of high purity by projecting an upper side of point of a blade partitioning a cylinder chamber integrated with a roller of a rotary piston, into a high pressure side and a low pressure side, more than its lower side. SOLUTION: In a rotary compressor, a piston 8 is rotated in a cylinder chamber 10 by the rotation of a crankshaft 4 by a motor, the refrigerant gas is compressed in the cylinder chamber 10 by the revolution of a roller 9 of the piston 8, and the compressed refrigerant gas is discharged. On this occasion, a blade 102 mounted on the roller 9 is formed into the taper shape of which the point upper side projects. Whereby the oil 100 between the blade 102 and a side wall forming a blade back space 103 is pressurized in a state that the oil is popped up to the blade back space 103, the surface of the oil 100 rapidly rises by the reaction of the pressure, and the scattering of the oil 100 from the surface of the oil 100 can be surely prevented.
