DETECTIONG METHOD OF DISSOLVING GRADUAL SCENE CHANGES IN VIDEO DATA ANALYSIS

PURPOSE: A method for detecting a dissolve effect from a gradual scene change in a video data analysis is provided to improve the efficiency of a video analyzing device by automatically detecting a dissolve effect among gradual scene changes. CONSTITUTION: A primary partial differential value is calculated. A secondary partial differential is performed with the primary partial differential value. The norm of the primary partial differential value is compared with the norm of the secondary partial differential value. It is determined that there's a dissolve effect. An accurate frame section in which the dissolve effect is used through two partial differential performances is detected. The section is set as a scene change.
