PURPOSE: A rear cover of a cylinder head is provided to compact structure of a cylinder head, to shorten a passage way of cooling water, to reduce warming-up time and to simplify a production process of the cylinder head by installing passage ways connected with a water jacket, an oil gallery and a blow-by gas return line at the rear of the cylinder head. CONSTITUTION: A rear cover(10) has an assembling face(12) placed onto a rear part assembling face of a cylinder head via a gasket, and many bolt holes(14) are formed in the assembling face and installed in the rear part assembling face. In the rear cover, a blow-by gas passage way(16), an oil passage way(18) and a cooling water passage way(20) are independently formed to flow blow-by gas, oil and cooling water into the cylinder head or to the outside. Integral installation of the passage ways with the rear cover, need of connecting media is eliminated. Therefore, structure and processing procedure of the cylinder head are compacted. Further, warming-up time of an engine is reduced according to reduction of a passage way of cooling water.
