PURPOSE: An electronic trip coil unit is provided to enlarge the maintaining force of a trip coil and to enhance the stability of operation by improving a structure thereof. CONSTITUTION: The electronic trip coil unit comprises a case-shaped yoke(1) of which a through hole is formed at an upper surface thereof, ring-shaped magnets(3) installed at a bottom surface of the yoke(1), a bobbin(4) installed at the upper portion of the magnets(3) having a center hole, a coil(5) disposed around an outer periphery surface of the bobbin(4), a moving core(2) having a small diameter portion(2a) and a large diameter portion(2b), and an elastic member(6) installed at the small diameter portion(2a). The elastic member(6) provides the moving core(2) with an elastic returning force when the magnetic force of the magnets(3) attracting the moving core(2) weakens.
