DEVICE OF DIRECTORY SERVICE USING CALLING NUMBER AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A device for servicing a telephone number by using a transmitting telephone number in a wide area directory service system is provided to service a transmitting location to a customer by using a transmitting telephone number, and to supply life information by using a transmitting address. CONSTITUTION: A subscriber database(10) stores information on a subscriber. Directory service system hosts(11) are connected to the subscriber database(10), and retrieve documents requested by a transmitter. Directory service terminals(12) directly receive a telephone number of the transmitter from an exchange, and display the transmitting number to a screen. An ACD(Automatic Call Distributor)(13) performs an automatic call distributing function and an automatic directory servicing function for inputted calls from the directory service terminals(12).
