摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus for optimizing transfer environment by detecting a humidity of a printing paper in an electrophotography system and a method thereof are provided to prevent the transfer current from leaking to optimize the transfer environment. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for optimizing transfer environment by detecting the humidity of the printing paper in the electrophotography system includes a photosensitive drum, a transfer roller, a ground member, a feed roller, an idle roller and a humid adaptive ground(100). The photosensitive drum develops electrostatic latent image to form a visible image on the outer diameter thereof. The transfer roller transfers the visible image on the printing paper using conductivity due to the transfer voltage. The ground member includes at least one ground members which are allocated in different places on a printing path so as to discharge the electrostatic field on the printing paper. The feed roller is made of a conductive material to detect the humidity of the paper electrically and fees the paper in the direction of the contact of the transfer roller and the photosensitive drum. The idle roller is aligned with the feed roller. The humid adaptive ground applies the humidity detect voltage on the feed roller when the paper is fed on the contact between the feed roller and the idle roller, switches on and off the ground point of at least one ground members according to the detected output on the leakage current through the paper to optimize the transfer environment.
