PURPOSE: A horn in a vehicle is provided to reduce environmental pollution caused by noise and to convert selectively a region of sound source output from the horn by will of a driver. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnet(2) is disposed at a specific position of an alarm housing(1) and the electromagnet is connected with an alarm switch(3). In a rear part of a copper plate(4), a leaf spring(7) contacted or shorted with respect to a coil(5) and a contact point(6) as a medium are aligned. For the coil attached to the copper plate(4) to generate an alarm sound of high frequency, a primary coil(5a) and a secondary coil(5b) generating a low frequency alarm sound are divided. The primary coil and the secondary are herein wound around the electromagnet. A driver then operates a low frequency switch mode for generating the alarm sound of a low frequency among switch modes and presses the alarm switch(3). The coil is contacted with a secondary coil connected to a high/low frequency conversion switch(15) for generating alarm sound of a low frequency thus environmental pollution caused by noise is reduced.
