PURPOSE:To provide an inverter device for an induction motor capable of obtaining an output waveform close to a desired waveform without being affected by a dead time. CONSTITUTION:A potential detector 10 detects the fluctuation of potential at the connection point of switching elements Q1, Q2. A dead time detector 11 detects a dead time from an output from a signal forming circuit 20. A sample-and-hold circuit 12 inputs an output from the potential detector 10 to an integrating circuit 13 during the input of the dead time signal of the dead time detector 11. A discriminating circuit 16 sets diecrimination levels La, Lb on the basis of the phase angle of a control signal. A comparator 17 compares an output from the integrating circuit 13 and the discrimination levels La or Lb selected through a filter circuit 15. The compensator 16 conducts the compensation of the addition or subtraction of a fixed value to or from the amplitude value of the control signal Vu by an output from the comparator 17, and outputs a control signal Vu' in which the amplitude of the basic control signal Vu is corrected. |
