A puzzle original board (8) is provided, an image receiving layer (82) suitable for printing with a water-color ink is formed on the front surface (81) of the board, and then the board (8) is cut into individual puzzle pieces (8(n)). Thereafter, printed image such as a pattern is formed on the image receiving layer (82) of the board (8) by means of an ink jet printer. When a blank puzzle original board cut into puzzle pieces (8(n)) is available, a novel jigsaw puzzle of one's choice can be made easily by using an ink jet printer and a personal computer. |
