<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the leveling performance of a septic tank, to let the septic tank sufficiently exhibit its function and to make work execution easy by using a flexible pipe. SOLUTION: A transfer pipe 1 which connects a large-sized sewage treatment tank 2 with another similar tank 3, is formed of a flexible pipe 10 having insertion ports at its both ends, and the flexible pipe 10 is made of a pipe element formed by circularly winding and extending a band made of segments each of which is composed of a thin shaft having at its distal end a locking pawl and a back from which the thin shaft is projected, so as to have a variable length from a shortened length to an extended length which is substantially double of the former. Thus, it can exhibit an exchanging function and a S- shaped bending function, thereby it is possible to overcome difficulty in centering both tanks 2, 3.</p> |
