PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a main body from being large-sized and expensive by a means detecting the atmosphere such as temperature and humidity at the inside of the main body changed by attaching a sheet inversion path unit used as an option when images are formed on both sides of a sheet. SOLUTION: In a forming device 101 of image on both sides of a sheet the main body 114 is attachably/detachably provided with the sheet inversion path unit 115 to guide the sheet inverted to an image forming means so that the image is formed on the other side of the sheet fed by a sheet stacking means 1 at which the sheets P are stacked after the image is formed on one side by the image forming means 35, and the sheet inversion path unit 115 is provided with an atmosphere detecting means 19 detecting the atmosphere such as the temperature and the humidity on the inside of the device body.
