PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power source unit which can improve power conversion efficiency. SOLUTION: When an input voltage VDC is applied to the primary winding 10a of a transformer 10 and a switch is turned on, energy based on a forward current IS1 outputted from the secondary winding 10b of the transformer 10 is outputted via a first capacitive element 21 connected directly with the secondary winding 10. In this forward type switching power source unit 1, energy based on a flyback current IS2 outputted from the secondary winding 10b is stored in the first capacitive element 21 when the switch is turned off, and the stored energy can be superposed on the energy, based on the forward current IS1 and outputted. |
