<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic dry toner giving sufficient image density without causing image defects such as the deterioration of fogging, capable of ensuring high fixing strength in spite of a lowered fixing temperature and capable of sufficiently ensuring a fixing temperature range in which offsetting is not caused. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic dry toner contains at least a polyolefin resin having a cyclic structure and a modified polyethylene resin as constituent components. The polyolefin resin is a mixture of a low molecular weight polyolefin resin (A) having a number average molecular weight of <7,500 and a weight average molecular weight of <15,000 measured by GPC(gel permeation chromatography) and having a cyclic structure and a high molecular weight polyolefin resin (B) having a number average molecular weight of >=7,500 and a weight average molecular weight of >=15,000 and having a cyclic structure. The modified polyethylene resin is a copolymer obtained by grafting polystyrene on polyethylene.</p> |
