PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounting part fitting jig, wherein, with no large- scale and expensive device required, such part as BGA and CPS is set at the appropriate position of a substrate visually with less labor. SOLUTION: In a jig 1 for appropriately allocating a surface-mounting part 9 on a pattern 41 on a substrate allocated corresponding to a solder ball on the bottom surface of the surface-mounting part 9, a dummy part 2 wherein, formed of a plate material of almost same shape as the surface-mounting part, a marking 21 is provided at positions corresponding to each point 41a of two corner parts allocated at least on diagonal line of the pattern on the substrate, and a jig main body 3 which holds the dummy part by contacting to at least one corner part of it, are provided.
