PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the reference time, when a processor in one block refers to the main storage in another block. SOLUTION: A main storage of each processor constituting an information processor is divided into a main storage area for its own processor and an area (copy area) stored with a copy of the main storages for other processors and the main storages are addressed by using pairs of processor # and main storage addresses. A control directory 1 of the main storage area for its own processor has entries, corresponding to the blocks of the main storage areas and the entries, have information showing whether copies of the blocks are stored in the copy areas of other processors. A control directory 2 for copy area have entries, which have information showing the addresses of the blocks of the main storages for other processors stored as copies and information showing whether the copies are valid or invalid.
