<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a visually handicapped person possible to set a document layout on a display by him-/herself, and to arrange data like a prepared text, table, etc., at any position by arranging a matrix pin output device, etc., for outputting pin output data by means of up-and-down motions of feeler pins. SOLUTION: A selecting device 102 selects layout setting position coordinates and a layout position to be operated. A document layout preparing part 103 sets a layout of a document and prepares information on the data to be embedded therein. A document layout storage part 104 stores prepared document layouts. An element data storage part 105 holds element data such as texts, graphics and chars to be allotted to the layout. A pin output data preparing part 106 converts document layout information into data for outputting it onto a feeler pin display. A matrix pin output device 107 outputs the pin output data from the pin data preparing device 106 as up-and-down motions of the feeler pins so that a visually handicapped person can understand them.</p> |
