PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface protective sheet for a solar cell module which is superior in light resistance, heat resistance, water resistance, waterproof and antifouling properties, and has very high protective capability, and a solar cell using the same. SOLUTION: A coating film 1 and a resin film 3 are laminated. The coating film 1 is made of a resin compound employing a fluororesin as the main content of the vehicle. A resin film 3 is provided with a vapor-deposited thin film 2 of an inorganic oxide an one surface thereof. Moreover, an antifouling layer 6 and/or on ultraviolet ray-absorbing layer 7 are/is provided on one or both surfaces of the laminated body comprising coating film 1 and the vapor- deposited thin film 2 of the inorganic oxide.
