<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the disturbance in potential of a pixel electrode and to display a clear image by providing a common line held to prescribed potential and a second electrode prolonged from the common line and arranging a first electrode and the second electrode in the spiral state so as to bite each other. SOLUTION: The pixel electrode 103 connected to a drain of a thin film transistor 100 is arranged so as to bite each other with a common electrode 105 of a rectangular spiral shape prolonged from the common line 104 and to make a distance between electrodes constant in the X axial direction, Y axial direction also. Further, the common electrode 105 is connected to the common line 104 at every row, and the common line 104 is fixed to the prescribed potential, and all common electrodes 105 are fixed to the same potential. Then, a pixel opposing a pair of pixel electrode 103 and common electrode 105 is constituted, and at a display time, an electric field occurs between two electrodes 103, 105, and the electric field is applied to liquid crystal material existing on a pixel area, and a display is performed.</p> |
