PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver a lateral width of a cabinet of which is made narrow and where even a sound with high frequencies can easily be heard by a viewer. SOLUTION: The television receiver is placed on a placing face 30, has a cabinet 1 in a front side of which a cathode ray tube 4 is fitted, and speakers 2 are placed at lower ends of the cabinet 1. A mount face 10 extended inward and downward from each side face of the cabinet 1 is formed to each lower end of the cabinet 1, each speaker 2 is placed inside the mount face 10 opposite to each other and a sound wave from the speakers 2 is once reflected in the mount face 30 and then delivered externally.
