PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a method in which sphingolipid in human corneum is quantitatively determined. SOLUTION: In this quantitative determination method for sphingolipid in human corneum, an adhesive tape wherein an adhesive layer which is soluble in an organic solvent not dissolving sphingolipid is provided and a support layer which is not soluble in the organic solvent is used, the corneum on a human skin is transferred to the adhesive layer, the corneum on the adhesive layer is separated by using the organic solvent, lipid which contains the sphingolipid is extracted from the obtained corneum, the lipid which contains the sphingolipid is reacted with marker acetic anhydride, and the amount of obtained marker N-acetylated sphingolipid is measured.
