Image transfer, e.g. for image transfer to chocolate, caramel, waffle, wood, cork, marble, iron, leather or stone surface comprises printed image contact transfer from treated paper to receptive surface
摘要
Image transfer, by contact transfer of a printed image from a silicone and/or paraffin treated paper to a receptive surface, is new. Image transfer from one support to another of different type is carried out by (a) image support preparation by application of silicone and/or paraffin onto both faces of a sheet of paper; (b) image production for transfer onto a selected receptive surface; (c) printing of the support with the selected image; (d) contact of the support with the receptive surface at elevated or ambient temperature; and (e) natural or forced cooling, if required, of the transferred image. Preferred Features: The silicone and/or paraffin is applied uniformly at 4 g/m<2> to achieve a thickness of 2 mu m. The image is created using design equipment such as a computer and a numerically controlled laser printing device. Image transfer may be carried out by (i) casting a molten product onto the support at 15-160 deg C; or (ii) placing the image on the receptive surface and applying pressure onto the back of the image support at above 160 deg C.
