PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely obtain information transmitted from a beacon set on a road, on which user's vehicle is traveling, even in the case that plural electric waves or optical beacons are close arranged. SOLUTION: When user's vehicle enters the communication area of an optical beacon, reception processing of optical beacon data is executed till leaving this communication area (S7), and acquired data frames are converted to such form that they can be transferred to a navigation system (S10). When it enters the communication area of electric wave beacon data, reception processing of electric wave beacon data is executed (S12), and trial reception processing of optical beacon data is executed (S16) till detection of passage just below an electric wave beacon (S13), reception processing is switched to that of optical beacon data at the time of detection of a frame of the optical beacon (S19). The data frame is converted after leaving the communication area when passage just below it is detected. |
