PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact carrier device wherein the time of each of feeding and drawing is short. SOLUTION: This carrier device is constructed in such a manner that by the forward rotation of a main gear 9, a feed roller 17 and a drawing roller 19 are rotated round the main gear 9 via a feed gear 14 and a drawing gear 15, the feed roller 17 is pressed into contact with an article 4 to be carried and rotated in a direction for feeding the article 4 to be carried, the drawing roller 19 is rotated at a position away from the article 4 to be carried, by the reverse rotation of the main gear 9 the feed roller 17 and the drawing roller 19 are rotated around the main gear 9 via the feed gear 14 and the drawing gear 15, the drawing roller 19 comes into press-contact with the article 4 to be carried and rotated in a direction for drawing the article 4 to be carried, and the feed roller 17 is rotated at a position away from the article 4 to be carried.
