PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit time-and-labor without making a user pay attention to reactivating operation and prevent the user from forgetting reactivation after the change of settings by automatically reactivating the network interface when the settings of the network interface are changed. SOLUTION: A CPU 8 controls I/Os other than the I/O of an image forming device which is connected outside. When the network interface(I/F) 4 is activated, its setting information is reported to the CPU 8. The CPU 8 holds the setting information reported from the network I/F 4. When a set value is changed from an operation part 22, the CPU 8 rewrites the set value held inside, reports the setting information to the network I/F 4, and also indicates that the I/F 4 needs to be reactivated.
