PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid a crystal display device capable of enhancing display quality by invertingly driving a line and pixels to reduce flicker. SOLUTION: An interlaced input video signal is alternately sampled by sampling switches SW1, SW2 which are alternately turned on/off on sampling capacitors C1, C2. Input video signals of the sampling capacitor C1 and the sampling capacitor C2 are supplied to a signal line via switches SW4, SW3 as they are or by being inverted via a non-inverse amplifier 10 or an inverse amplifier 11 by output changeover switches SW6 to SW9. Since the potential of a common electrode Vcom is inverted at every one scanning line, input video signals whose polarities are different every scanning line are alternately applied to liquid crystal pixels of a liquid crystal panel.
