PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To listen to the broadcasting of a target category in a short time by taking out frequency data corresponding to the data of a detected result from a history table, setting a reception frequency and selecting the program group of program contents for which reception is desired. SOLUTION: An antenna 11 receives DAB(digital audio signal) broadcasting transmission waves and supplies them to a tuner circuit 12. The base band signals of DAB are taken out from the tuner circuit 12, supplied to an A/D converter circuit 13 and A/D converted to digital signals. Then, the digital signals are supplied to a quadrature demodulation circuit 14 and the data of in-phase components and quadrature components are demodulated. Then, the data are complex Fourier transformed in an FFT circuit 15, frequency components are outputted for respective symbols and supplied to a video decoder circuit 16, de-interleave and error correction are performed and also the digital audio data of a target program are selected.
