An aluminum metal backing 1009 is formed so as to cover phosphor film 1008 formed on an inner surface of a faceplate 1007. A high voltage deriving terminal 1021 is connected with high age voltage power supply. A front panel 1012 is bonded on the outside of the face plate 1007 by an adhesive 1013.
