<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To update entry before movement by means of a minimum number of regenerated packets in a short time by limiting unwanted regeneration of the regenerated packets in a mobile communication network. SOLUTION: A moving node MH transmits a control packet to a home router HR immediately after its movement. A router R1 receives this control packet. The router R1 transfers the control packet to a succeeding router R2 on a path toward the home router HR, and also generates a regenerated packet resulting from copying the control packet and transfers it to routers R10, R11 adjacent to the router R1. In this case, the router R1 does not transfer the packet to routers R5, R4 that are located in an area, to which the moving node moves at a lower probability on the basis of their geographical conditions.</p> |
