<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable communication, when fault occurs by permitting a first low-order node to detect communication faults between the first lower-order node and a first higher-order node, request a second node to be the higher-order node of the first lower-order node in place of the first higher-order node and set the lower-order node, based on processing information transmitted from the second node. SOLUTION: A control part 62 of a label switch 1 monitors interfaces 41-44 and requests the label switch 2 to be operated as the higher-order node of an edge node, when disconnection between optical fibers 101 and 102 is detected. The control part 62 recognizes the edge node as the lower-order node of the label switch 2, sets the mode setting part 61 of an STM-TSI unit 45 in a primary mode and gives a host request message to an LDP processor 51. Correspondence is made in response to updating routing information, and the edge node can conduct communication with another edge node through the label switch 2.</p> |
