TONER AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having excellent durability, stable high image density and low fogging by including specific binding resin, colorant, wax and inidazole compound. SOLUTION: This toner has a contact angle to water of 105 deg.-130 deg. and its binder resin comprises a mixture of polyvinyl and polyester components, and the acid value of the binder resin is 0.5-40 mg KOH/g and an insoluble matter in tetrahydrofuran(THF) in an amount of 5-60 weight % and the wax having a main peak in a molecular weight of 300-5,000 and the binder resin has an acid value 0.5-40 mg KOH/g, and the toner contains an imidazole compound having an imidazole unit represented by the formula in which each of R1-R4 is, independently, an H or halogen atom or an optionally substituted alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, amino, or heterocyclic group.
