PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an optical carry-over which generates an error in the readout of a luminometer used to measure photons emitted by the light emitting section of an immunoassay analytical test package. SOLUTION: This analyzer contains a fluid conduit 30 in which every sample S is circulated through a liquid test package containing a plurality of liquid sections, a plurality of air sections and a plurality of reagent sections R which are used to emit photons, a first luminometer 65 which is situated along the fluid conduit 30 and which detects photons emitted by at least one reagent section out of the liquid test package, a second luminometer 80 which is situated along the fluid conduit 30 and which detects photons emitted by at least one reagent section R out of the liquid test package, and an extinction region 50 between the first luminometer and the second luminometer inside the fluid conduit 30. At least one reagent region R out of the liquid test package and a buffer-solution section are mixed with each other inside the extinction region 50 so as to substantially stop a light/photon generation section. |
