PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly connect a battery to a circuit substrate, and furthermore simplify a structure and save a small space. SOLUTION: In such a connecting structure 1 for a battery of a camera that a circuit substrate 11 and a battery B installed in a battery chamber 10 are electrically connected to each other through a metallic contacting piece 2, the metallic contacting piece 2 is formed in a plate-shape by an elastic member; the circuit substrate 11 and the contacting piece 2 are connected with a solder 12; when the battery B is installed in the battery chamber 10 a conductive part A of the battery B is brought into contact with a protuberant part 3 of the metallic contacting piece 2 from an almost same direction as the circuit substrate 11 so as to position opposing to the circuit substrate 11 and the battery chamber 10 by sandwitching the contacting piece 2; and furthermore a receiving member 4 for a contacting piece abutting on the metallic contacting piece 2 is disposed between the two places where the circuit substrate 11 and the battery B are respectively brought into contact with the metallic contacting piece 2.
