PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform correction to a point which a user is interested, especially related to such important border as highway and river, etc. SOLUTION: A car position is specified from a position information acquired from a GPS(global positioning system) satellite 1 using a GPS receiver 2 mounted on a car, which is displayed on an electronic map of a display part 4. Using a procedure of a district division process part 7a of a car position display system, a table wherein the region a car is traveling is divided into a plurality of districts is prepared with an MPU 3 in advance. A user inputs such dynamic information as in which districts the car is traveling from an input part 6 of an automatic vehicle monitor(AVM) device 5. The inputted dynamic information is acquired with the MPU 3 in the procedure of a dynamic information acquiring process part 7b, the dynamic information acquired in the procedure of car position correcting process part 7c is compared with a car position acquired from the GPS receiver 2, and if there is an error, the car position is corrected on the road in the district inputted from the AVM device 5. |
